You can select screen, lighter dodge (add), or color blend modes. For highlighting hair, use the same steps as for adding highlights.
Cropping
If you’ve ever wondered how to crop screenshots in The Sims 4, you can do so with the help of Photoshop. The screenshots in The Sims 4 are usually too bright, so trimming the image to remove unwanted blank space is a great way to improve the quality. There are two methods to trim the screenshots: the first method uses the Eraser Tool to remove unnecessary space around the sim’s face. You can also use Paint or IrfanView to crop the image.
Artificial Depth-of-Field
You can achieve stunning screenshots with minimal photoshop editing by using the default camera in The Sims 4. You can take complete control of the camera angle and create a wide-angle view of your Sims. You should note that this method is not compatible with screenshots taken on a game console. Adding a lighter dodge (add) blend mode

Lighter Color makes the base color look brighter by comparing its value with its blend color. Unlike the former, Lighter Color does not create a third color. The lighter Color preserves the most brilliant Color in the photo while clipping the darker Color.
